Terms
Three parties, and what each one is responsible for
Updated 5 August 2026. Most disputes in this trade come from nobody having written down which of the three is answerable for what, so that is how this page is arranged.
01Who the three are
You, the person making the booking. The desk, which is Luxury Travel Films Reservations LLC of 630 Ninth Avenue, New York, NY 10036. The operator, an independent, licensed transport company that supplies the vehicle and the driver and carries out the ride.
The desk is not the operator. We take reservations, check availability, quote and pass the confirmed booking on. We own no vehicles, employ no drivers and hold no permit to carry passengers for hire. Every clause below follows from that one fact.
02What the desk is responsible for
- 1. Quoting honestly. The figure we send covers the ride and names the things that can be added to it, and it does not move after you accept unless you change the booking.
- 2. Passing the booking on accurately. Address, time, class, bag count, flight number and any note you added.
- 3. Telling you quickly when we cannot cover a run, rather than accepting it and letting it fail.
- 4. Watching the flight when you gave us a number, and moving the pickup time when the arrival moves.
- 5. Keeping your details as described in the privacy policy and no longer.
- 6. Answering for our own mistakes. If we sent the operator the wrong terminal, that is ours.
03What the operator is responsible for
- 1. The vehicle, its condition, its permits and its insurance.
- 2. The driver, their licence and their conduct.
- 3. Getting you and your luggage there.
- 4. Anything that happens during the ride itself.
- 5. Taking payment for the ride and refunding it when a refund is due.
Where a claim concerns the ride, it lies against the operator who performed it. We will give you their details, and we will chase them on your behalf, and we will say so if we think they are wrong. What we cannot do is answer as though we had been driving.
04What you are responsible for
- 1. Details that are correct. A wrong address or a wrong terminal is the most common cause of a failed pickup and it is not something the desk can detect.
- 2. Being reachable on the telephone number you gave us, at the hour of the pickup.
- 3. Being there inside the free waiting window, or calling if you are not.
- 4. Luggage that matches what you told us. A class booked for four cases does not become a class for eight because the cases arrived.
- 5. Behaviour in the vehicle. An operator may end a ride for conduct that puts a driver or the vehicle at risk, and in that case the fare stands.
- 6. Your own insurance for valuable items. Nobody here signs for the value of what goes in the back, and equipment cover stays with whoever owns the equipment.
05About the money
- 7. No payment is taken on this website. There is no card field on it and none will be added.
- 8. Quoted prices are for the ride described in the quote. The pricing page lists every charge that can be added and no charge exists outside that list.
- 9. Published prices are starting prices. They are described that way everywhere on this site and are not an offer of a total.
- 10. Cancellation, changes, no shows and refunds are governed by the cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms.
- 11. Nothing is sold or shipped by this company. There is no product, no delivery, no returns process and no warranty on goods, because there are no goods. The only thing that can be cancelled or refunded is a booked ride, and that is covered above.
06About this website
- 12. The words, photographs, layout and code on this site belong to Luxury Travel Films Reservations LLC. You are welcome to read, print and quote from it with attribution. You are not welcome to republish it wholesale.
- 13. Photographs on this site were generated for it and show representative scenes rather than specific vehicles, drivers or bookings. No image on this site is a photograph of an actual ride we arranged.
- 14. Prices, times and distances published here are honest at the date at the top of the page. Traffic, tolls and road charges move, and the quote you receive is the current figure.
- 15. This site links to nothing outside its own domain. There are no third party scripts, no advertising and no analytics on it.
- 16. We do not publish reviews, ratings, awards or customer counts, because we have none we could stand behind. Their absence is deliberate rather than an oversight.
07Limits, plainly
- 17. Where the desk is at fault, our responsibility is limited to the value of the booking concerned. That is the honest measure of what a booking desk can be answerable for.
- 18. Nothing here limits anything that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
- 19. We are not answerable for delays caused by weather, road closures, incidents, industrial action or anything else outside the control of the desk and the operator.
- 20. If any clause on this page turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands.
08Law and reaching us
- 21. These terms are governed by the law of the State of New York, and the courts of New York County have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
- 22. Before any of that, telephone +1 (646) 559-3082 or write to callsheet@luxurytravelfilms.com. Almost everything that has ever gone wrong on this desk was settled in one conversation.
Using this website, or making a booking through it, means these terms apply to you.
